Aussie, Aussie, Austria, Oi! Oi! Oi! First $100,000 jackpot Sit & Go Tournament on Full Tilt

6 Aug 2014

ONCHAN, Isle of Man -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Three fortunate Full Tilt Poker players have shared $100,000 in prizes after entering a three-player, $50 entry, Jackpot Sit & Go Tournament.

This massive new prize demonstrates that Full Tilt Poker’s newest poker format is continuing to award extraordinary prize pools for ordinary buy-ins. Jackpot Sit & Go Tournaments were initially introduced on June 24th, with buy-ins available at $1, $2, $5 or $10, and a maximum prize of $20,000. Due to their huge popularity, on August 1st, a new buy-in level at $50 was introduced, which enabled prize pools of up to $100,000.

The first $100,000 jackpot Sit & Go Tournament took place on August 2nd. The three winning players were:
FdotFloss (Australia) - $45,000
SirSion (Australia) - $45,000
gismoR1 (Austria) - $10,000

FdotFloss and SirSion split the prizes after gismoR1 had been eliminated. The usual payout for the highest $50 Jackpot Sit & Go is:
1st - $75,000
2nd - $15,000
3rd - $10,000

As soon as players are matched with two opponents from the same buy-in level – either $1, $2, $5, $10 or $50 – the prize pool is randomly multiplied between two times and 2,000 times the buy-in. After a brief moment of suspense while the prize pool is decided, the players then battle it out with a Super Turbo structure.

The tournaments are available on all forms of the Full Tilt Poker software, both desktop/laptop, and also on mobile devices running Android and Apple operating systems.
