Andy Roddick Foundation and WPT Events team up

HOLLYWOOD, Florida – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Bringing together the global leader in poker entertainment and one of the biggest names in professional tennis, Andy Roddick and WPT Events(TM), a division of WPT Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq: WPTE), today unveiled a new philanthropic partnership to benefit the Andy Roddick Foundation (ARF), an organization that focuses its efforts to treat abused and at-risk children.

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., South Florida's leading entertainment destination, will host the inaugural Andy Roddick Texas Hold 'Em Charity Tournament on December 8 in the state-of-the-art Hard Rock Live venue. The property also features 17 restaurants, 11 clubs and lounges, a 16,000 sq. ft. grand ballroom, a full-service, European-style spa and 22 retail shops.

A $500 donation to the ARF gives attendees a seat in the tournament and the chance to go head-to-head with Roddick and other celebrities who will play to support the cause. Proceeds will benefit ARF-supported charities.

Founded by Roddick in 2001, the goal of the ARF is to improve quality of life and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all children based on three principles: respect for family, education, and morality. All benefiting organizations aid in the development of at-risk children and families, including those that have been abused, abandoned, and neglected. ARF has targeted children's programs like Kids in Distress, A Safe Haven for Newborns, Children's Diagnostic and Treatment Center of South Florida, Sun- Sentinel's Children's Fund, Here's Help, Settlement Home and Austin Children's Hospital. Comprised of seven dedicated unpaid volunteers, the ARF raised $1.3 million charitable funds last year.

Prior to the tournament, WPT Events and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will provide a cocktail hour with appetizers. First prize includes a seat in the 2007 WPT Celebrity Invitational and three nights at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, Calif. The second-place winner will receive a seat at WPT Boot Camp®, a two-day tutorial featuring an integrated curriculum that includes live lecture from poker's most dynamic poker players and insiders, archived footage from the WPT and interactive game playing. The third place winner will receive two seats to a "sold out" dinner and auction on December 9 and two VIP canopy seats to a tennis event on December 10 at The Polo Club Boca Raton.
