AmTote, OGN sign deal
HUNT VALLEY, Maryland – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Onetworkpera Glass Networks, LLC (OGN) and AmTote International, Inc. (AmTote), today announced the creation of a non-exclusive joint-development initiative to market innovative, web-based, multimedia wagering products and services to the thoroughbred racing and fixed-odds wagering industry.
The focus of the AmTote-OGN alliance is to support racetrack, off-track betting ("OTB") and sport book operator enhanced wagering experiences. This will include supporting and improving affinity and entertainment programs focused on the consumer. The alliance will combine the resources of AmTote and OGN, together with those of host tracks, OTBs and sports book operators, to enable a fully-integrated, digital media approach to the real-time delivery of meaningful, contextually rich, multimedia content, two-way information and targeted communication to disparate digital media devices and other digital media platforms. Included in these devices and platforms will be account wagering self-service displays, wireless PDAs, smart phones and enhanced broadcast/digital signage systems - including LED display.
The cornerstone of the AmTote-OGN program will be an open, flexible platform which will enable the integration of multi-source, multimedia content, data and backend applications into a seamless, engaging and productive presentation.
"OGN's repeated demonstration, across multiple live-event environments, of their leadership in support of host organizations' development of results-oriented expanded value and affinity amplification programs through digital media is unquestionable," stated Steve Keech, President of AmTote. "We've seen the resulting increase in handle and improved customer response. We're thrilled to be able to offer our combined resources to help our customers advance the race and fixed-odds sport experience both on and off premise."
OGN is extremely pleased to be working with the AmTote team. Amtote's depth of experience, practical, innovative Spectrum platform, solid technology, commitment to customer service and flexible business approach adds tremendous value to our product suite of advanced personal wagering, enhanced broadcast and added value digital racing programs," said Barry Goldberg, President of OGN.
It is anticipated that the output of the AmTote-OGN alliance will begin to be rolled out in 2007. In early December of this year, AmTote and OGN were able to demonstrate some of their possible products to key industry participants at the Racing Symposium in Tucson.
