Americas Cardroom launches mini Online Super Series

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Americas Cardroom (ACR) announces that they will be hosting a series of big guarantee, small buy-in tournaments called the mini Online Super Series (mOSS) from November 15th to 19th. MOSS is the first tournament series of its kind hosted on ACR and promises to offer generous prize pools for low entry fees for the players. If you remember ACROSS — the big Online Super Series — you're going to love the mini version of it.

"We're happy to give our micro-stakes players opportunities to win some serious money for a very small investment," commented ACR spokesperson Michael Harris. "We think that the mini OSS will give great value to our players as we're expecting overlays on most of the guarantees."

The mini OSS consists of a number of small buy-in tournaments that run at the same time over the course of five days. The four different tournament results will be tracked on leaderboards and the top player of each leaderboard will then qualify into a $1,000 4-max final table awarding $500 to 1st place, $250 for 2nd, $150 for 3rd and $100 for 4th place.

"Players can track their progress throughout the tournament series in the lobby as they compete throughout the five days," continued Harris. "The payout structure is a special one awarding the top player in each tournament a juicy first-place prize."

The buy-ins vary from $0.10 to $2 and the daily guarantees run from $1,000 to $10,000. The prize payout structure has been adjusted to allow for healthy payouts to the first-prize winner. A player can effectively parlay $2 into $3,000 with a win at the $10,000 guaranteed. Players may also buy-in using their player points.

Guarantee: $10,000 Guaranteed with $3,000 to 1st place
