Americas Cardroom goes all in with final super satellite to Punta Cana Poker Classic
24 Oct 2013
"We're making a last minute push for the Punta Cana Poker Classic in a massive way," stated Michael Harris, spokesperson for Americas Cardroom. "Our goal is to get as many people down to paradise to experience how amazing the five-star Hard Rock Resort is, not to mention how incredible our $500,000 tournament is."
Sunday's 10-package Punta Cana Poker Classic event gets underway at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 27th. The buy-in for the event is $50+$5; however, many Americas Cardroom players have already earned a free seat.
The 10-package Punta Cana Poker Classic guarantee is part of the Beast leaderboard competition, a twice-monthly progressive points race that rewards hundreds of players twice a month with cash prizes and tournament entries — just for playing at specially marked cash tables.
Players who ranked on the leaderboard in the month of September have earned a spot in the tournament, however the event is open to players—including those who have never played The Beast. Each $4,100 package includes one Main Event buy-in, SIX-night hotel accommodations for one, all-you-can-handle food and drinks (alcohol included), a $1,500 resort credit, 24-hour premium room service, a welcome gift bag, airport-hotel-airport transportation in Punta Cana, $800 for travel, access to a 24/7 VIP support line and more.
Entering its fourth year, the Punta Cana Poker Classic tournament takes place at the Vegas-style Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Dominican Republic from November 11th through 17th with a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000 and several side events.
Unlike previous Caribbean tournaments hosted by other poker networks where online poker players had to purchase expensive food and alcohol, the Punta Cana Poker Classic awards Americas Cardroom winners with a bracelet that gives them access to unlimited food and beverages 24/7. Hotel rooms are well stocked with beer and liquor, room service is available whenever poker players crave it, and over a dozen restaurants and delis are ready to cater to package winners.
