Americas Cardroom continues $5 Million Guaranteed promotion

The online poker tournament featured $500,000 in guaranteed prize money, fueled by a total of 1,788 entries, and was part of a tournament lineup with larger-than-expected prize pools.

Last night’s tournament saw MR FABULOUS and Caspershmubbs negotiate a final deal with Caspershmubbs leading in chips. MR FABULOUS earned $69,921 and Caspershmubbs walked away with $75,578. The two then played it out for an extra $10,000, set aside for the winner, with MR FABULOUS ultimately earning the tournament champion title and $79,921 overall.

The $500,000 Guarantee was part of a Sunday tournament lineup at Americas Cardroom that saw significant prize pools. The Sunday Special featured a guarantee of $125,000, plus a $75,000 GTD Hold’em tournament. Also worth noting is the $40,000 GTD High Roller event, whose prize pool jumped up to $58,000.
