All Pennsylvania millionaire raffle prizes claimed

24 Jan 2007

MIDDLETOWN, Pennsylvania – (PRESS RELEASE) -- All five Millionaire Raffle winners have come forward to claim their $1 million top prizes from the Pennsylvania Lottery drawing held on Dec. 30, 2006.

John Maier of Churchville, Bucks County, was the first to claim a Raffle top-prize earlier this month. Maier bought his winning ticket at 7-Eleven, 932 Street Rd., Southampton, Bucks County. Since then, the remaining four million-dollar-winning tickets have been claimed by:

-- Georganna Weston of Tyrone, Blair County, who purchased her winning ticket at UniMart, 1960 Adams Ave., Tyrone;

-- Carol Budzilowicz of Conshohocken, Montgomery County, who purchased her winning ticket at Genuardi's Family Market, 200 Ridge Pike, Conshohocken;

-- Yvonne Brown of Dunbar, Fayette County, who purchased her winning ticket at Speedy Meedys Inc., 1697 University Dr., Dunbar; and

-- Richard Brown of Rimersburg, Clarion County, who purchased his winning ticket at Tom's Riverside, 526 Main St., Rimersburg.

After examining each ticket and executing other propriety security measures, Lottery officials today confirmed that all four were top-prize winning tickets from the Dec. 30 Millionaire Raffle drawing. Each of the five stores will receive a $5,000 selling bonus from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The five $1 million top-prize raffle ticket numbers; five $100,000 second- prize ticket numbers; and 750 prizes of $1,000 each came from a pool of 625,000 tickets that were sold between Nov. 21 and Dec. 21.

A complete list of all 750 winning raffle ticket numbers is available at Lottery retailers, as well as on the Lottery's Web site: palottery.com. The numbers are listed by prize category in ascending order. Players may also use a "search" function to enter their eight-digit Raffle ticket number to see if they have a winning ticket.

The five $100,000 prizes can be claimed at any of the Lottery's seven area offices or at any licensed Pennsylvania Lottery retail location. Claims may be filed Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Lottery area offices. Holders of Millionaire Raffle tickets worth $1,000 can claim their winnings at any Lottery retail location. Holders of winning tickets have one year from the date of the drawing in which to claim their tickets.
