Alberta: Calls for VLT changes to curb addiction

EDMONTON, Alberta -- The Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission is being encouraged to switch current VLT machines with ones that would be slower and "less addictive", the Calgary Herald reported.

The call came from a Liberal politician, as the AGLC is scheduled to upgrade the machines in the coming years, the report explained.
