Alabama trial sees big names on witness list

ALABAMA -- The list of potential witnesses who may be called to give evidence at the high-profile Alabama corruption trial includes some high profile names, The Montgomery Advertiser reported.

Potential witness names floating about include: Randy Owen of the band Alabama and Secretary of State Beth Chapman, the report explained.

The trial, in its second day of jury selection, could also see a long list of high profile witnesses called by the defence, including Senators, a Circuit Court Judge and numerous other powerful people, according to the Montgomery Advertiser.
