Advice for players with limited bankrolls
Hey Frank,
After a lot of searching on the Internet it seems you are the top authority on most styles of gambling. The wife and I are heading to Tunica and we are on the limited funds budget, like $400 each. I was wondering if you had any ideas on what to stick with if we are looking for a good time but also to either keep us even.
Tables generally seem to take my money but I'm going out to buy your two newest books, Beat Blackjack Now! and Casino Craps: Shoot to Win!
It would be nice if we could get our $800 up to $4,500 for a down payment on a house but I'm sure that isn't happening so just wanted to hear ideas if you have the time. Also on www.Amazon.com it said something about asking you for membership to your website as well.
Thanks for the help, Frank, Nick G.
Dear Nick:
I wish I had a magic wand and could give you a fast, easy to play formula to absolutely come home a winner on your upcoming trip. Unfortunately, I can't. In both of the books you mention, there are strong advantage-play techniques that will give you the edge over the casino. Each takes practice and will not always win.
With that said, you should read "Chapter Six" on the 5-Count in Casino Craps: Shoot to Win! and incorporate that method into your game. Once you know how to use the 5-Count, then bet a single come bet with $5 and back it with double odds. You will not win $4,500 playing this way, but you will be able to last. Do not get caught up in the frenzy of ploppy gamblers throwing out all manner of bad bets. These folks are losers even if they seem to be winning during any particular moment.
I am giving you a free 30-day subscription to my private website at www.goldentouchcraps.com. We have over 5,000 members and the various message boards are loaded with interesting and fun information. Enjoy!
All the best in and out of the casinos!
