Absolute Poker Offers FreeRoll

COSTA RICA – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Absolute Poker, the fourth largest online poker website in the world, announces a free chance to play and win in the "Quarter Million Dollar FreeRoll Challenge." The date for the tournament is set for Saturday, June 24. The first place winner will take home a $50,000 grand prize, while the top 1,000 main event finalists will share over $200,000 in prize giveaways.

"Hands down, players deserve a free shot to win big, and Absolute Poker is ready to give away a quarter million dollars in cash prizes to make that happen," said Mike Edwards, Absolute Poker marketing manager. Kicking off and running through June 23, there will be three heats every day. Players can enter any heat they wish for free (subject to terms and conditions). Each heat can accept a maximum of 2,000 players, and players are only eligible to win one seat into the $250,000 main event. Heats will be titled "Qtr Million" and can be found under the QTR Million Tab in the online Tournament Lobby. Tournament registration will open two hours prior to the posted tournament start time. Register early to ensure yourself a seat!

The three daily "Qtr Million" Heats will start at the times posted below and will award seats as listed:

5pm EDT -- Top 9 players advance to $250,000 main event.

10pm EDT -- Top 9 players advance to $250,000 main event.

2am EDT -- Top 9 players advance to $250,000 main event.
