A review of Jackpot Games

26 Apr 2010

By David Newstead
As an affiliate, I'm always looking for new opportunities. As an online slot machine player I'm always looking for new games to try. So when I heard about a new casino brand called Jackpot Games I naturally took a look.

I was immediately struck by the slick website. It's obvious some thought has gone into catching the eye, delivering their brand and brand message, as well as keeping it light, easy to manage and fun. From the saucy girl, to the instant selection of flash-based casino games on the homepage, Jackpot Games exudes a sense of sophistication and excitement through its polished retro feel.

Navigating deeper reveals a simple menu system that, rather than forcing the download or a needless landing page, loads your game of choice instantly, giving you the option to register, login or play for fun. The games launch in pop-ups so you can play a number of games at once. With some clever positioning of windows you can spin a roulette wheel, try your hand at blackjack and setup auto play option so you can play their online slots.

And speaking of slots, they have just over 25, and although that's not as many as some online casinos, they actually rank amongst the best I've ever played. I recommend setting them to full screen mode, turning on the speakers and sitting back and enjoying some truly immersive slot action. The combination of classy graphics and stunning stereo sounds make every spin a "reel" pleasure. In fact I've found myself returning again and again to some, preferring them over my favourite Microgaming and Wagerworks slots. I suggest you give Blood Suckers, Wild Witches and Devil's Delight – to name but a few – a go. Within a few spins I'm sure you'll agree that these rank among some of the most generous and fun slots out there.

So, they've got the games...have they got the bonuses and support to match? In terms of bonuses it's a big "yes". They sport a full range of promotions with generous reward amounts that rival any of the other dedicated casinos. Players at Jackpot Games can expect an instant triple your money 200% welcome bonus on their first deposit of €25.

Having tried it I can comfortably say that it does exactly that. I deposited €25, got €50 from them and played with €75 – all in an instant. No emails, no waiting – just extra playing money straight away. Naturally there is a wagering requirement, but at x30 it is again well within the norm (though few casino offer 200%!).

The casino also claims there is a monthly refill bonus of 30% up to €30, as well as loyalty points and a VIP program for the high rollers out there, including an augmented signup bonus offering, which makes the whole package a very competitive player retention offering.

As for support...I haven't needed to try it as the system is easy and the bonuses are awarded instantly, but it does appear slightly limited. Offering just a selection of email addresses for specific problems, though they do promise to respond "quick and efficiently", the limited number of options will need addressing.

This brings me to my last point: affiliates. I only promote casinos that offer great games, can retain players (after all, I want maximum return on the players I refer) and have a decent affiliate program. Jackpot Games Affiliates features commission rates of up to 40%, and boast a commission model that they claim is one of "the most attainable models in the industry". They do have a point too, as just €5,000 separates each tier, unlike the c.€15k most ask you to earn before warranting a much smaller percentage increase. They also highlight a flexible approach to affiliate marketing and invite affiliates to contact them to discuss opportunities. I think I may drop them a line myself as I'd like to feature them on my online slots and best online casino review sites.
