A Bet A launches roulette game in Ireland
24 Aug 2015
The game, Roula Roula, which runs every five minutes throughout the business day between 08:00 and 22:00, will be streamed to in-shop televisions, with A Bet A’s EPOS system providing the data for secure bet capture and settlement.
The TV stream can also be supplied without the A Bet A EPOS system, meaning there are no barriers to entry for bookmakers who don’t currently work with the supplier.
A Bet A Operations Manager Jason Hardman believes the product, which has proven popular in trials, will be well-received in the independent sector as it provides an additional revenue stream.
He said: “Independents have been having a tough time of late, but Roula Roula will hopefully go some way to levelling the playing field with the bigger Irish chains.
“It is a simple yet effective RNG product which provides welcome additional content to their customers and will increase both footfall and retention in shops.
“It requires no additional technology or computer equipment and, better still, will be available to them for free for the first year after installation. We think it will be a real winner.”
A Bet A is working with Betting Data Services to deliver further games into the Independent Irish market, with Roula Roula just the first in an exciting and innovative portfolio.
The company, which also supplies software for call centres, online sportsbooks and mobile apps, will be demonstrating their full product portfolio at TVC Bookmakers Trade Fair at Cranmore Park on 21 October 2015.
