666Bet steps into the ring to sponsor Dereck Chisora v. Tyson Fury bout

26 Jun 2014

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Online bookmaker 666Bet has signed a title sponsorship agreement with Queensbury Promotions for the long-awaited Derek Chisora v Tyson Fury rematch. The WBO World Heavyweight Championship Final Eliminator takes place at Manchester's Phones 4u Arena on Saturday 26th July.

A 666Bet representative will be live on BoxNation during the event with all the latest odds. The firm will also have their logo on all marketing materials, backdrops, and media day training rings, as well as in the ring on the night.

Adverts during the live broadcast and on odds column on Frankwarren.com will highlight 666Bet, in addition to full social and digital support from Queensberry Promotions.

Barry Martin, CEO of 666Bet.com, said: “For 666Bet this is another step in our commitment to support world-class sporting events.

“Our aggressive marketing strategy has seen us launch with a phenomenal 1,966/1 on England to win the World Cup and we’re also the new sponsors of Newmarket’s historic Bunbury Cup. We’re delighted to have teamed up with Queensberry Promotions to showcase what promises to be a cracking night’s entertainment.

“Tyson Fury has been tipped for the very top and all eyes will be on him as he renews rivalry with Dereck Chisora. The excitement around British boxing is experiencing a real high and fans cannot wait for this fascinating rematch.”

Fury is one of the most exciting British boxers around, having compiled a 22-0 record including an impressive 16 Knock Outs.

This fight will be the biggest of the imposing Mancunian’s career as he looks to become Britain's first world heavyweight champion since David Haye with another victory over Chisora.

The pair met in July 2011 when Fury won a unanimous decision over the Londoner to take the British and Commonwealth titles.

Chisora has since been involved in some of the biggest fights of recent years, including a bout against Vitali Klitschko and a huge domestic clash with Haye.
