66% remain in Circa Survivor 2025

1 Oct 2025

(PRESS RELEASE) -- During Week 4 at Circa Sports, over 1,400 entries were eliminated from the sports betting venture’s professional football contest, Circa Survivor. None of the top five picks lost, however, one team drew the attention of the football world.

Rule 6.a in Circa Survivor is important and draws questions every year. It reads, “Weekly selections shall be graded as a loss if the selected team ends their game in a tie.” This week, 478 entries were relying on Green Bay to beat Dallas during Sunday Night Football. The game went to overtime and Dallas kicked a field goal first. Green Bay then matched that field goal as time expired ending the game in a tie. Those 478 entries were then eliminated from the contest.

Earlier in the day, Los Angeles lost to New York during quarterback Jaxson Dart’s first start. New York started out with 10-0 and 13-3 leads and never looked back, leading the entire way and holding on for a 21-18 win. 784 entries were then eliminated after relying on Los Angeles, the sixth-most picked team of the week.

In total, 1,407 entries were eliminated in Week 4. 12,404 have survived to Week 5, representing 66.2 percent of the overall field. Those entries remain on the quest for the $18,718,000 prize pool.

In Circa Grandissimo, two entries selected Los Angeles and one picked Green Bay. Now, 55 of the original 69 entries are still in contention for the $6,900,000 prize pool.

In Circa Million VII, the top finishers are paid out each quarter. After four weeks, the first quarter ended with a four-way tie for MVP. Contestants CHAMP, ODD COUPLE, SCRIM67 and WRETCHY all finished with a 17-3 record. They split the quarterly first place prize of $265,000, each taking home $66,250. Meanwhile, C-WEBB finished with a 2-18 record, earning the last-place booby prize for the quarter and taking home $25,000.
