4KingPoker Tour Plays Doubleheader

12 Dec 2005

(PRESS RELEASE) -- 4kingpoker Tour is playing at two top poker sites back to back on Sunday 18th December, UltimateBet & Titan are to host the tournaments each with $50 added to the prize pot.

The poker double kicks off first at UltimateBet at 3pm ETwith a $5+0.5 buyin tournie and then joins Titan poker for another $5+0.5 buyin at 7pm ET.

"Following the success of the Titan freeroll where 140 players fought it out for a slice of the $100 prize money and points on the 4kingpoker Tour leaderboard we decided to organise a double weekender before the Christmas festivities" commented scrawnybob, webmaster.

Both UltimateBet and Titan have proved to be very popular sites with our forum members and having a double means we can get a couple more games in before Christmas. Having hosted successful freerolls it was about time we upped the stakes a bit and adding $50 to each of the buyin tournaments should make the pot well worth competing for with a modest buy-in of $5.50.

The 4kingpoker Tour is a great opportunity for poker players to challenge their friends, beat their mates and for the winners - have top bragging rights on the 4kingpoker forum. Players will be able to see their names up on the leaderboard after each event and a bit of friendly rivalry is expected over who will finish the overall 4kingpoker Tour champion.

The current leader on the tour is FAT who picked up a 7th place in the UltimateBet freeroll and 2nd in the Titan one. It's still really early in the season and so there are plenty of points up for grabs.

We are hoping to pick up another date in January at Poker.com for another $100 freeroll.

Private tournaments are the perfect way to build a vibrant online poker community and that is what we aim to do. There are so many souless banner farms that aren't interested in giving something to the players.

As well as launching it's private tournaments for members, 4kingpoker has a growing forum and features original content - poker tips & articles written in a no-nonsense style, down to earth poker room reviews & regular competitions to win poker related prizes.
