3 players win WSOP buy-ins at Americas Cardroom

The World Series of Jackpots promotion is coming to an end with the final spin of the year scheduled for Friday, July 3.
“We just hit our first jackpot spin today and hope to hit at least one more before the promotion closes on Friday,” commented Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris. “This really is a great last-chance opportunity for players to get into the biggest poker tournament of the year.”
The World Series of Jackpot tournaments are a variation of the popular Jackpot Poker game that Americas Cardroom introduced to its players in March. Regular Jackpot Poker tournaments are 3-player hyper turbo tournaments with three separate buy-in amounts. Players can buy-in for $2 and win up to $5,000, $10 and win up to $25,000, and $40 to win up to $100,000. All major Jackpot Poker spins have hit at least once since March.
The World Series of Jackpots is the same tournament format with a modified payout structure. Players can buy in for $3 or $30 and when the World Series of Jackpots spin doesn’t hit, the two top finishing players receive their buy-in back. When the Jackpot spin does hit, all 3 players at the table are rewarded a full $12,500 package. Wednesday’s package spin was won by players ‘Ricardodiaz’, ‘MARDO500’, and ‘NoahSDsDad’.
“It’s a popular promotion because players can continually spin for the WSOP Main Event package off just one buy-in, simply by not finishing last in the hyper-turbo tournament,” continued Harris. “When the Jackpot spin does hit, all three players receive the $12,500 without having to play it out.”
The World Series of Jackpots will end on Friday when Americas Cardroom will switch its focus to the Million Dollar Sundays, $1,000,000 GTD tournament on August 2nd. Americas Cardroom is the only U.S.-facing site to offer $1,000,000 GTD tournaments, having successfully hosted two so far this year.
Players who love Jackpot Poker will be able to win their $540 seat to the ‘online tournament of the summer’ for as little as $1. The Jackpot Poker seats to the Million Dollar Sunday will be available the week leading up to the tournament.
