2022 World Series of Poker Week 6 in review

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The 53rd annual World Series of Poker Main Event is officially underway at its new home on the Las Vegas Strip following exciting “Shuffle Up and Deal” moments with last year’s champion Koray Aldemir and Celebrity Master of Ceremonies Vince Vaughn.

Week six of play delivered on non-stop excitement with a new millionaire crowned in the first-ever Million Dollar Bounty event, a new bracelet winner in the Mini Main event and a dramatic WSOP Main Event Bracelet Reveal featuring a royal entrance by Vince Vaughn. All eyes are now on the Main Event tables as poker players from around the world fight for their chance to become poker royalty.

Week 6 Highlights

- Vince Vaughn kicks off Main Event Flight 1D in Grand Fashion

• The 2022 World Series of Poker Celebrity Master of Ceremonies Vince Vaughn arrived in epic fashion surrounded by a Roman Royal Court to unveil this year’s prestigious WSOP Main Event Bracelet

- Quincy Borland takes the win in Event #68: $1,000 Million Dollar Bounty

• Quincy Borland took home his first-ever WSOP gold bracelet and $750,120 in winnings after besting a field of 14,112 players. In the same event, American poker pro Matt Glantz took home the $1 million bounty and $20,730 for his 42nd place finish.

- David Jackson wins Event #65: $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em

• David Jackson came out on top after besting and denying Phill Hellmuth his record-breaking 17th gold bracelet, earning his second WSOP bracelet and $369,698 in winnings.

- Saturday, 9 July – Event #74: $1,111 One More for One Drop No-Limit Hold’em – Flight C

• Players will compete for a gold bracelet in one of the WSOP’s charity focused events benefitting the One Drop Foundation

- Thursday, 14 July – Event #83: $50,000 HIGH ROLLER No-Limit Hold’em

• Players will compete in a high-stakes, $50,000 buy-in tournament for a chance at a prestigious gold bracelet
