2006 Online bingo awards launched
These prestigious awards, the 'Online Bingo Oscars', aim to celebrate and reward excellence in Online Bingo, as voted by the most important part of the game, the players. The awards are designed to reflect the quality, excitement and entertainment value of Online Bingo sites' offerings.
The 'Site of the Year' award is open to all 'pay-to-play' sites, regardless of software provider, and the 'New Site of the Year' award is open to any new Online Bingo site that launched during 2006. The UK Online Bingo Site of the Year' award is open to any site that offers bingo in GB sterling.
The players' vote will decide all three awards, and the polls are open until 31st December 2006. Bingo sites across the internet have already started frantically campaigning to their players, and the competition will be intense. At the end of the month the sites with the most votes in each category will then be awarded the respective titles.
Phil Fraser, owner of WhichBingo and widely recognised as the sector's leading expert said "We want to praise and celebrate those sites that consistently deliver enjoyment and satisfaction to their players. There are some really great UK and US-targeted bingo sites out there doing a fantastic job. Once a year, Bingo players have a forum to register their appreciation of the fun and enjoyment these sites supply. We are very excited about these awards, particularly the UK one."
WhichBingo will be promoting the award heavily during December through online advertising, press, direct mail and various other means.
