12th annual Gulf Coast Poker Championship at Beau Rivage

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Beau Rivage Resort & Casino presents the 12th Annual Gulf Coast Poker Championship 5-16 September 2019. The record-breaking event will heat up with four seats guaranteed to the Main Event in the nightly Super, $100 Buy In with $50 Rebuys 5-7 September, followed by the three-day $300,000 No Limit Hold’em Guaranteed event. The championship will continue with 13 other events, culminating in the $1,350 Buy In all day two players cash Main Event on 14 and 15 September.

“We are expecting a wonderful event this September at the Gulf Coast Poker Championship,” said Beau Rivage Poker Room Manager Henry Garrison. “We saw a 50% uptick in entries from '17 for the opening $300,000 Guarantee event last year. The Main has event also swelled to almost a half-million dollar prize pool and our new Heads Up event was a success and sold out early, so we’re happy to bring this back.”

The Gulf Coast Poker Championship will include $100 Supers and $300 Mega Satellites. Other game formats include No-Limit Hold’em, Big O, Pot Limit Omaha, Limit Omaha 8 or Better, and a Monster $50,000 Guaranteed. The new and popular Heads Up No Limit Hold ‘Em event is Monday, 9 September with a $300 Buy In. Seniors can enjoy their very own $300 No-Limit Hold’em event at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, 10 September.

The Gulf Coast Poker Championship has a unique tournament format designed to offer multiple day events. Registration begins at 6 p.m. on 5 September, and will continue daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Poker players can play and stay with a special $69 weekday and $119 weekend hotel rate.
