105 remain in Circa Survivor NFL contest
12 Nov 2024
Circa Survivor had 151 remaining entries going into Week 10. Seven survived Thursday night as Baltimore escaped with a win in primetime. Of the 144 entries who picked teams playing on Sunday, 62 chose Los Angeles against Tennessee, who won handily. The remaining 82 entries spread out over six other teams – New York, Minnesota, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Atlanta.
New York played Carolina in Munich, Germany, early on Sunday. Thirty entries were on New York as they were 6.5-point favorites. Carolina scored early in the game and led 10-0 at halftime. New York staged a comeback sending the game to overtime and giving hope to those faithful entrants. However, Tyrone Tracy Jr. fumbled on the first snap of overtime. Carolina kicked a field goal to win leaving the Circa Survivor field down to 121 entries before the regular slate of games had started.
In addition to the 30 entries eliminated by Carolina, 14 were knocked out by Chicago losing to New England. Unlike New York who put up a fight, Chicago failed to score a touchdown. New England never looked back after taking the lead in the second quarter. Two entries on Atlanta almost had it against New Orleans, however, three missed field goals by Younghoe Koo lost them the game.
With 105 entries left, the implied value of each remaining entry is $135,866. Last year after Week 10, there were 609 entries remaining, while there were 86 entries in 2022 and 173 in 2021.
