£10,000 Red Button Success Awaits The Sunderland Six
William Hill TV received over 2000 entries in a free competition, open to anyone who registered with the interactive red button on CH425 before the end of October and on Thursday night, the six finalists were drawn, live on air by presenter David Hood during the stations flagship programme Racing Live.
Throughout Friday night's Ch425 programme, a trap draw will allocate each finalist a runner in Saturdays race and the rest as they say will be up to them. Called by the Ch425 team on Thursday night, one of the finalists Joe McFadden from Manchester, was overwhelmed as he chatted about his chances in telephone link with the studio. "Its tremendous, I can't believe it. I was amazed when I heard my name called out and I can't wait for Saturdays race. I watch the channel most nights during the week and although I was planning to go out on Saturday, one thing's for sure, I'll be glued to the box until after the race now! I think they do a really good job and I know the trap draw is random, but I'd be delighted if I ended up with one of the inside runners. If I do win, I don't know which prize I'd go for yet, it's a tough call to have to make, so I'll wait and see if I have to make it first of all."
The Six Finalists drawn at random for Saturdays televised Ch425 – Red Button Winner Stakes from Sunderland are:
Mrs Karen Logan (Leeds)
Mr Joe McFadden (Manchester)
Miss Karen Scott (Folkestone)
Mr Tim Dyer (Peterborough)
Mr Peter Cable (Chelmsford)
Mr Stuart Weston (Billericay)
