$611,944 payout at PokerStars Sunday Million 13th anniversary

(PRESS RELEASE) -- More than 61,000 entries took to the felt to celebrate the iconic Sunday Million’s 13th Anniversary on 14 April.

‘wangli0402’ outlasted the huge field to take home $611,944.97 after cutting a deal with four other remaining players to secure each of them more than half a million. A total of 10,196 players were paid, with prizes ranging from $431 to $625,073.37, with fifth place finisher ‘t4rz4n_21’ taking the largest share of the prizepool.

The tournament received 45,929 unique players and 15,413 re-entries, totalling a massive 61,342 entries and making up a prize pool of $12,268,400, beating its original $10 million guarantee.

The 13th Anniversary event is now the second largest Sunday Million in history, coming in just behind PokerStars 10th Anniversary celebrations for the Sunday Million that happened on 18 December 2011.
