$5 million Classic Jackpot lottery win

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Montérégie resident Paul Bidault won the $5,000,000 Classic Jackpot in the 20 July Lotto 6/49 draw. He received his check at the Casino de Montréal on 26 July.

Paul Bidault has been purchasing his Lotto 6/49 tickets online through a subscription for several years. He was thrilled to see a message from Loto-Québec informing him that he'd won $5,000,000 when he checked his email the day after the draw.

Bidault was skeptical at first. But after speaking with a Loto-Québec employee, he just had to accept it: he'd won the Classic Jackpot.

The lucky winner had such a hard time believing in his luck that he waited several days before sharing the wonderful news with his spouse.

The new multimillionaire plans to use his windfall to retire early and indulge in his passion for traveling.
