Event #29: $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em

Winner: Santhosh Suvarna (India)

Prize: $1,922,870

Key Storyline: A regular in the WSOP high stakes tournament streets, India’s #1 all-time money leader, Santhosh Suvarna, extended his WSOP bracelet total to three, all of them from high roller events.

Event #30: $1,500 Limit Hold’em 7-Handed

Winner: Dennis Weiss (Germany)

Prize: $133,704

Key Storyline: Winning his first two of three WSOP bracelets in Pot-Limit Omaha events, Germany’s Dennis Weiss has now claimed a bracelet in a different format, winning the $1,500 Limit Hold’em 7-Handed tournament.

Event #32: $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em

Winner: Omar Zazay (Richardson, TX, USA)

Prize: $538,158

Key Storyline: Battling back from a stack of just ten big blinds to defeat WSOP bracelet winner Jean-Robert Bellande heads-up at the final table, businessman Omar Zazay will return to the Lone Star state with his first WSOP bracelet.

Event #33: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship

Winner: Nathan Gamble (North Richland Hills, TX, USA)

Key Storyline: Now with three WSOP bracelets to his name, all in PLO8 events, Nathan Gamble becomes the most decorated PLO8 player in WSOP history.

Event #35: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha

Winner: Jason Zipfel (Aliquippa, PA, USA)

Prize: $441,560

Key Storyline: Jason Zipfel makes his first-ever Pot-Limit Omaha cash a big one, winning the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha for his highest score to date.

Event #36: $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em

Winner: Yuri Dzivielevski (Brazil)

Prize: $2,841,432

Key Storyline: An incredibly decorated professional poker player with WSOP bracelet wins across varying variations and stakes, Yuri Dzivielevski wins his sixth bracelet and highest score to date in the $100,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller.

Event #37: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E.

Winner: Nick Schulman (Manhattan, NY, USA)

Prize: $183,366

Key Storyline: Justifying his 2025 induction into the Poker Hall of Fame, Nick Schulman captured his eighth WSOP bracelet event.

Event #38: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship 7-Handed

Winner: Dong Chen (China)

Prize: $285,200

Key Storyline: Finishing on top of the podium at an incredibly talented final table that included Benny Glaser, Jeremy Ausmus, Gus Hansen, and Jesse Lonis, China’s Dong Chen secures his second WSOP bracelet.

II. UPCOMING SCHEDULE & KEY EVENTS

June 15, 2026: Event #46 - $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em Championship

Significance: While the $5,000 Seniors High Roller No-Limit Hold’em is already underway, the $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em Championship kicks off today and is set to draw an even bigger field.

Media Note: One of the most anticipated tournaments at every WSOP, this year’s iteration will be a must-follow, thanks to the years of combined experience in the field.

June 15, 2026: Event #47 - $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha

Significance: We have already seen several poker players claim victory in high roller events at the 2026 WSOP, but the $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller will feature major pots and even more excitement for poker fans.

Media Note: Being a pot-limit poker variation, it will be a few levels into the tournament before you see an increase in players all-in and at risk.

June 17, 2026: Event #50 - $1,500 Millionaire Maker
Significance: One of the most popular tournaments at each WSOP, get ready to see one of the biggest fields thus far at the 2026 series.
