Between 1998 and 2002, the first betting platform release was enhanced with new applications, not only to satisfy operator's requirements but with the main goal of satisfying user's needs. During this span, Wirex understood that every player had his own attributes and operators must be able to offer customized services according to their own customers' features.

Wirex started to work on a high-flying project that revolutionized the entertainment technology industry: the company aimed to develop a really user-friendly platform, meaning something that players use in their everyday life. This path led Wirex to develop a software with a unique account and a unique e-wallet, multi currencies, multi languages, very user friendly. Between 2002 and 2003 Wirex presented the first flash betting platform on the internet: a revolutionary interface welcoming the player in a "Windows style" environment, enabling both players and operators to have an all-in one gaming platform.

In 2004 Wirex was chosen by SportingBet Italia Spa (controlled by Sportingbet Plc) as its software provider; BetSite was tailored according to the Italian requirements enabling Sportingbet to both manage its bettingshop network and online users.

In 2007 Wirex developed the new version of the PSQF protocol to connect to the Italian AAMS, the gaming authority. From then on, it was be easy for an international company to enter the Italian market. During 2007 and 2008 Wirex decided to enter the gambling software industry, working ambitiously on a Live Casino project together with a Maltese Partner, Portomaso Casino, where actually the servers, cameras and tables of the Live Platform would be based.

In October the Live Roulette Table was launched together with the PuntoBanco; a few months later the Live BlackJack table followed. Much appreciated is the unique back end solution for sportsbetting as well as live casino and third party software. With a unique account players are able to bet and play across all the integrated gaming products offered.

In 2009 Wirex started working on a new product: the Poker network. that will soon be launched.

In August 2009 Wirex became an authorized AAMS provider. From now on it will be easier for all the Italian concession owners to connect to AAMS through SOGEI and start operating into the Italian legal betting and gaming market.

In 2010 Wirex launched the online slot machines (traditional, classic and video slots) developed together with Portomaso Casino's Slot managers & technicians, that carry over 20 years of experience in the land based industry and thus familiar with the exigent needs of every customer.
