The game uses the Marvel comic book superhero of the same name, with the Captain America symbol substituting as wild. Other symbols in the game include villains, policemen, the Statue of Liberty, American flags, Captain America's shield, helmets, boots, top secret files and potions. When the wild symbol appears in any winning payline, Captain America throws his red, white and blue shield.

The game also features a Captain America logo as a scatter symbol. When three or more logos appear, the bonus round is triggered. The player selects five planes and Captain America will throw his shield at the selected plane, revealing either a cash prize or 15 free spins. During the free games feature, prizes are doubled.
