VictoriaFrom February 6, 2012, the Victoria Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR) is responsible for regulating the liquor and gambling industries. Previously, liquor and gambling were administered and regulated by separate bodies – the Director of Liquor Licensing and Responsible Alcohol Victoria administered and regulated the liquor industry while the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation administered and regulated the gambling industry. Gambling decisions will continue to be made in a commission-based decision-making structure.
