QuébecOn December 1, 2010 Loto-Québec opened registration on its first online gaming site, Espacejeux. Only Québécois adults may register and play on the site, which offers eight kinds of poker games, baccarat, blackjack, and roulette. Sports betting and bingo are expected to be added in the future. Online gamblers may wager on games using online bill payment, credit, or debit cards 24 hours a day. In February 2011, the British Columbia Lottery Corporation’s online gaming site, PlayNow.com, and Québec’s Espacejeux joined the Canadian Poker Network, allowing British Columbians and Quebecers to play poker against each other. The Canadian poker Network, established in December 2010, is the first poker network in North America.
