Another 300 tickets each win $500. Those numbers are now posted at the Virginia Lottery's website: valottery.com. Retailers will post the winning numbers in the days after the announcement. Players may also check winning numbers by texting their raffle ticket numbers to "82568."
Anyone who has one of the $1 million tickets should contact the Virginia Lottery.
Just 330,000 tickets were printed for the raffle. The last ticket was sold on May 22, just five weeks after they first went on sale. Because of the success of Virginia's Millionaire Raffle, Lottery officials are planning another raffle game later this year.
All profits from the Virginia Lottery go to K-12 public school education in the Commonwealth. In fiscal year 2006 the Lottery turned over more than $454 million for Virginia's public schools, representing about 10 percent of state funding for public education in Virginia.
