Vegas Partner Lounge to donate to AIDS charity

26 Oct 2009

GAUTENG, South Africa -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Vegas Partner Lounge has so far made a number of contributions on a yearly basis to HIV/AIDS NGOs with the hope to 'heighten awareness and help those who are most in need,' said the casino group's manager Austin Green.

In 2008 Vegas Partner Lounge made a donation of $18 000 to the Leratong AIDS Hospice in Pretoria, South Africa. The hospice deals in sheltering and caring for the infected and ailing that have been stricken with the HIV virus; much of its patients are children and the elderly.

'Vegas Partner Lounge will do its best to collect a heftier amount in 2009,' says Green. 'We urge our existing players to play the three preset online games from which 25% of all bets will be put aside for donation purposes."

The casino manager says that no decision has been made on the destination of this year's donation as of yet, but that an announcement will be made before the 1st December.

Vegas Partner Lounge has nominated three of its most popular online casino games in aid of the effort. Players who play Tomb Raider: Secret of the Sword, Thunderstruck and Kung Fu Monkey - all video slots - will be automatically donating a quarter of their wagers to the Vegas Partner Lounge 2009 HIV/AIDS fund.

Vegas Partner Lounge hosts 10 online casinos, all of which will be involved in this year's charity campaign. Visit http://www.vegaspartnerlounge.com/charity.asp to find out more.
