tombola is already one of the UK’s highest-profile online bingo operations, sponsoring both ITV’s popular soap, Emmerdale and Sunderland Association Football Club. Its partnership with Search Laboratory is designed to make it ‘first choice’ for people wanting to play bingo on the Internet.
tombola, which uses real players rather than actors in its TV advertising, will work with Search Laboratory on a number of initiatives designed to make potential customers more aware of its website, tombola.co.uk. These will include developing more links from other sites, creating a buzz in online forums and social networks, and ensuring that the tombola name is linked to the terms that searchers use. Named ‘Online Bingo Operator of the Year’ for 2010, Sunderland-based tombola and its associated companies have been involved in bingo for 50 years, design and create the games in-house.
