According to ABC affiliate WJBF, a 28-year-old woman who joked to a group of trick-or-treaters that she was going to take their candy had a gun pulled on her by a 10-year-old boy. The woman told police that she recognized the youngsters. When she said she was going to steal their treats, things got heated.
"No you're not, b****," the 10-year-old stated. He then pulled a 9MM handgun at the woman. Another boy mimicked that he also had a gun, but he did not.
Police say the gun wasn't loaded but the boy had a clip of ammunition. Police were called and the boy was taken to the police station, where he was turned over to his parents.
The boy allegedly had taken the gun from his grandfather without his permission. Due to South Carolina law, because of his age, he cannot be charged with anything.
The Reel Life is happy that something more tragic didn't occur in this case. And while we don't own a gun, if someone tried to steal our Charleston Chews and Baby Ruths when we were 10, we can't promise that we'd be well-behaved either.
