According to NPR, Audrey Scott spent three days in jail after dialing 911 searching for a husband.

"You need to get a husband?" the dispatched asked. The 57-year-old Scott responded, "Yes."

The Alliance resident was told by the stunned dispatcher that she could face arrest for misusing the emergency line.

"Let's do it," Scott responded.

She was convicted of improper use of the 911 system and has since served her sentence

Not surprisingly, Scott has blamed the entire incident on alcohol.
