Tattersall accused of greed
15 Jan 2008
AUSTRALIA -- As reported by the Australia Herald Sun: "Gambling giant Tattersalls - which runs Tattslotto, among other lotteries - has been accused of greed after removing its machines from small newsagencies.
"Up to 15 mum-and-dad shop owners in areas including Thomastown, Armadale, Hawthorn and across the western suburbs have lost their right to sell Tattslotto and scratchie tickets because they failed to meet quotas of up to $8000 a week.
"...Tatts Group external communications manager Michael Mangos denied the company was greedy and said the outlets had been given 12 months warning to lift sales or lose machines."
