Talks to end Ontario casino strike

TORONTO, Ontario -- As reported by the Canadian Press: "Negotiations to end a strike by employees at three casinos in Ontario are expected to resume as early as Tuesday.

"Approximately 850 employees at casinos in Brantford, Sudbury and Woodbine Raceway in Toronto have been on strike since June 1.

"The Ontario Lottery Corporation in a release Sunday night said that informal talks with the Canadian Auto Workers over the weekend were positive enough to resume the negotiations..."
