Tabcorp head wants betting exchange ban

AUSTRALIA -- As reported by the Australia News: "TABCORP chief executive Elmer Funke Kupper, head of Australia's biggest casino and gaming company, has written to the NSW and Victorian premiers seeking a ban on betting exchanges.
"...Mr Funke-Kupper took aim at Northern Territory bookmakers and James Packer's jointly owned Betfair.
"... Betting exchanges pay a modest amount of tax to host states, but racing authorities are worried that they may threaten the integrity of racing if they allow punters to back horses that finish last..."
