Snooker betting crisis: Players found guilty of cheating to get life bans

LONDON, England -- World Snooker is to introduce a zero tolerance policy on corruption, The Guardian reported.

Under the new policy any player found guilty of corrupt behaviour, such as match fixing, will be banned from the sport for life, The Guardian report said.

World Snooker have established an integrity unit, also players who fail to report suspicious activity can face a lifetime ban, the report added.
