Rainbow Riches enjoys second renaissance with launch of new slot site
18 Jul 2012
Sean Wilson, Chief Editor of the new site, spoke of his delight at the launch: "We have a four-man team completely dedicated to the Rainbow Riches franchise," he said. "It is a privilege and an honor for all of us to develop a site that profiles a game that has touched the hearts and minds of many millions of Brits up and down the country."
Wilson's team's enthusiasm for the subject matter is apparent in their work. With keen attention to detail, Wilson's self-confessed gaming fanatics turn their critical and creative eyes to every aspect of the slot franchise, including the classic games and their transition to online and mobile markets.
"The mobile markets are perhaps the most exciting," Wilson adds. "With Smartphone technology advancing so rapidly there need not be any contrast between the online and mobile gaming experience. There can be no doubt that this kind of mobile gaming is the future – we have merely scaled the tip of the iceberg.”
With various social media pages and feeds already dedicated to the the Rainbow Riches Slot Games franchise, there are undoubtedly thousands of fans who will be eager to see the rest of the iceberg that Wilson describes. Such an eager fan-base can prove a touchstone when it comes to further additions to the franchise, as sequential releases have shown.
Parent developer Barcrest Gaming can lay testimony to the spectacular success the Rainbow Riches franchise has enjoyed. The slots producer was sold to Scientific Games Corporation in 2011 for £33 million after a 13-year spell at gaming behemoth IGT, and has continued to develop online and traditional slots for the gaming sector. In 2012 Barcrest signed a deal with GameAccount Network that will see Rainbow Riches launched online in several freshly regulated European territories.
Other famous titles in Barcrest’s slots portfolio include Ca$ino and Crown Jewels.
