Quit Work to Collect Lotto Win of €1.35m

CORK, Ireland -- As reported by the Irish Times: "A lucky Cork man quit work yesterday to pick up a cheque for a lottery win worth more than €1 million.
"The millionaire grandfather, who wants to keep his identity a secret, asked for time off work in order to make the trip to Dublin with his wife to claim his winnings.
"His employer refused and the man quit his job to collect his €1.35 million winnings..."
