Prince Edward Island: Change of heart over online gambling
25 Oct 2010
PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND, Canada -- Prince Edward Island is the latest Canadian province to consider online gambling and the answer is no, CBC News reported.
Last week Nova Scotia rejected any plan for allowing online gambling, CBC said.
Prince Edward Island's Finance Minister was originally behind the idea of online gambling but said he'd had a change of heart after considering player protection, CBC News reported.
BC has already launched its online gambling website, Quebec and Ontario will soon follow.
