Paf looking for the best poker face

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Paf is inviting poker players to upload their best poker faces on paf.com. The Paf community will then have the opportunity to vote on the pictures and crown the Paf Best Poker Face Champion 2011.

Paf's online poker manager Rickard Petterson is excited about the competition: "We're really serious about poker at Paf. That's why this year the event has a record guaranteed prize pool of 100,000 euros. But we think it should be seriously fun too. The idea behind this competition is to let our players express their personalities, as well as giving them the chance of winning a fantastic prize."

This is the seventh consecutive year Paf has held the Paf Poker Challenge in the beautiful Åland Islands, located in the Baltic Sea between Sweden and Finland. The Paf Poker Challenge runs from 20-22 May and is the largest live tournament Paf hosts. Early indications are that this year's event will build on the previous years' success with even more players taking part and could even reach the competition cap of 200 players.

Rickard Petterson is certain demand for the competition will be high: "Last year it was sold out two weeks before the event, so people should get their tickets now!"

The venue for the Paf Poker Challenge is the Alandica Cultural Centre, which is situated in the heart of Mariehamn on the seafront. Alandica is also next door to the newly-opened Paf Casino.

The buy-in this year is 730+70 euros for the Main Event, which starts on Friday 20 May at 16:00 CET. Paf will also offer other tournaments and cash games during the event.
