Paddy Power offering odds on Amanda Knox book

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- With the news that Amanda Knox has signed a £2.5m book deal with publisher HarperCollins, leading betting firm Paddy Power are betting on the name of the soon-to-be published book, which promises an “unflinching account” of the events in Perugia in 2007.

“Amanda” is the current 3/1 favourite with Paddy Power ahead of “Knox” at 6/1 and “Innocent” at 20/1. Other names attracting interest are “A Hard Knox Life” at 50/1, “Knoxed Up” at 100/1 and “The Italian Job” at 250/1.

Paddy Power are also taking bets on the total worldwide sales of Amanda’s book with sales of between 500,000 to 1,000,000 copies the current 11/8 favourite. It’s also a likely 4/1 shot with Paddy Power for her book to top the NY Times bestseller list.
