New York: Police arrest 37 in gambling ring bust

NEW YORK -- Police have swooped on an alleged Gambino-related gambling ring and busted it, the New York News reported.

37 suspects were arrested in "Operation Flat Rate" including a bit-part actor in The Sopranos, the report said.

The gambling ring is understood to have operated an online sportsbetting type site and a "numbers" game, the New York News said.
