NCAA Race for Favorite Tight

ST. LOUIS, Missouri – (PRESS RELEASE) -- The race for the favorite is tight when it comes to the match-up between the Michigan State Spartans and the University of North Carolina Tar Heels, but sportsbook.com players have declared their allegiance. Sixty-eight per cent of New York state players are behind the Tar Heels,51 % of Illinois players have picked UNC, and, perhaps surprisingly, only 53 % of players from North Carolina are backing the home state team.

Texas and Pennsylvania are not in the Tar Heels camp. By a small margin, the two states want to see the 5th seed Spartans in the final by 53% and 52% respectively.
