ARIZONA -- Lottery ticket sales are up across many states, including Arizona where they rose 6 percent, according to Bloomberg.

43 states have lotteries and 26 of them have seen revenue increase in the last year, with 17 states setting records, the report said.

The rise in sales is attributed to renewed lottery efforts to attract players, the report noted.
