Las Vegas prepares for Memorial Day Weekend

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Visitors looking for a last-minute getaway over Memorial Day weekend can look no further than the "Entertainment Capital of the World." As the ultimate destination for world-class restaurants, day life, nightlife, spas and entertainment, Las Vegas provides a one-stop shop for everything one needs to relax, refresh and rejuvenate over the long holiday weekend. The destination expects a high-volume weekend, with an estimated 328,000 visitors generating an economic impact of more than $252 million.

Thank you for your service
As a thank you to those who have served and are currently serving in the U.S. military, Caesars Entertainment will offer an additional 15% hotel discount for all veterans and active military with valid ID. On 29 May, The LINQ Hotel & Casino will also offer free admission to The High Roller Observation Wheel to all active and retired U.S. military members with valid ID, and a 20% discount all weekend at Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar.

Relax, dance or both
Whether its sitting in the sun, soaking in a pool or dancing the day away to world-renowned DJs, there is a plethora of choices for coming to the destination. At Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, revelers can enjoy sounds by: Andrew Rayel, Derro and W&W, Galantis and Cedrick Gervais from 26 May through 29 May. TAO Beach at The Venetian Las Vegas serves up sounds by Ruckus, DJ Khaled and DJ Mustard, 26 May through 28 May. A little more relaxing, yet still posh and full of fun, "Party Patrol" at Caesars Palace will have music, drink specials and cornhole at Alto Bar, Garden of the Pools and Apollo Pool. Visitors are also encouraged to take advantage of the lush offerings in pool, cabanas and spa treatments at the Mandarin Oriental. And all summer long, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino showcases the Strip's stand-alone wave machine with FlowRider.

From day to nightlife
Dance the night away to the sounds of Diplo, Marshmello and Flosstradamus from 25 May to 27 May at Intrigue Nightclub at the Wynn Las Vegas. Can't choose between The Chainsmokers, David Guetta, Kygo or Diplo? Guests can see them all from 26-29 May at XS Nightclub, also located at the Wynn Las Vegas. One of the COOLest Parties continues at Drai's at The Cromwell with DJ Esco spinning on 25 May and performances by Future on 26 May, Lil Wayne on 27 May and closes out the weekend with Wiz Khalifa on 28 May, or rock out to Smashmouth on 27 May at the Elation Pool located at the Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower.

Live concerts
Returning with rave reviews, global superstar Jennifer Lopez hits the stage 24 May through 11 June with her "JENNIFER LOPEZ: ALL I HAVE" residency inside The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The show is a unique production supported by a five-piece live band and 14 dancers, showcasing extravagant costumes and state-of-the-art technology.

Dead & Company kick off their 2017 summer tour at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas Garden Arena on 27 May.

Across the street at T-Mobile Arena, New Kids on the Block brings their 2017 headlining "TOTAL PACKAGE TOUR," alongside tour-mates Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men on 28 May.

Fill your weekend with laughter
Comedy has long been a staple in Las Vegas, from the likes of Don Rickles to Joan Rivers and Ray Romano to Jerry Seinfeld. Recently, at The Flamingo Las Vegas, it's a dragon that's getting all of the laughs. "America's Got Talent" Season 10 favorite, Piff the Magic Dragon settles in for an extended summer residency beginning 22 May for more than 40 consecutive performances.
