Kerzner CEO dies in crash
SOUTH AFRICA – As reported by the Australian: "Butch Kerzner, 42, died while surveying potential development sites for the company, Kerzner said.
"Two pilots and another passenger also died when the helicopter crashed in the Dominican Republic, it said.
"Mr Kerzner's death would not affect his firm's bid, submitted on Tuesday, for Singapore's second casino licence on Sentosa island, the statement said.
"…Paul O'Neil, former chief executive officer of the company's largest operation in the Bahamas and a member of the board, had been appointed acting chief executive of Kerzner International Holdings Limited, effective immediately.
