GTECH G2 introduces live presenter bingo

(PRESS RELEASE) -- GTECH G2, the interactive subsidiary of leading American gaming technology and services firm GTECH Corporation, has announced the launch of a new and improved online bingo network that now features live presenters.

From today, online bingo sites aimed at players in the UK and powered by GTECH G2 such as Chit Chat Bingo, Littlewoods Bingo and Butlins Bingo will feature select games hosted by a live presenter every evening.

GTECH G2 stated that the integration of this new feature follows a decision to move all of the UK bingo sites it powers to an improved network featuring updated software. Players can view a demonstration video of the presenters at www.lyceummedia.com/gtechg2/bingo/.

"We haven't used the live presenter just to call numbers," said Jennifer Ekholtz, Bingo Product Manager for GTECH G2.

"We invested all this time and energy into incorporating live presenters so that they could interact with the players and entertain them while the numbers are being called and between games."

GTECH G2 revealed that its presenters appear on a small screen within the bingo window above the chat window and not only entertain but also give away special cash bonuses and information about upcoming games and promotional offers.

"Five young and congenial British presenters host GTECH G2 UK bingo rooms each night from a studio in London," read a statement from GTECH G2.

"Ben is a cheeky prankster from London who likes films from the 1980s and EastEnders. Emma is the biggest chocolate fan in the world and enjoys breakfast in bed, shopping and evenings with friends. Rik is a not-so-tidy Virgo who is keen on sports, especially golf, Greek food and movies. Matt, who likes to spend his weekends watching football, sandwich in hand, is a big fan of roller coasters and funny mirrors. Eccentric and a bit quirky, Emma loves the water and ice climbing and has seen the movie Avatar at least 15 times. They all enjoy bantering back and forth with players."

GTECH G2 has also revealed details of a series of mini games that will be embedded within its bingo client. Games such as Chippendales: Reel Deal, a 5-reel, 9-line progressive slot that features video clips of the dancers in action, unique bonus levels and the chance to win the progressive jackpot, will be available in the hours when live presenters aren't scheduled. Players can also learn more about each dancer as well as get to see more of him as he struts his stuff.
