GENTING HIGHLANDS, Malaysia – As reported by the Malaysian Star: "Tycoon Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong celebrated his 90th birthday with pomp and splendour, surrounded by family and friends including politicians and corporate figures.

"The celebrations, held at the Chin Swee Caves Temple here yesterday, saw about 800 guests cheering and wishing him long life and happiness.

"The highlight of the event was the unveiling of Lim's statue and the launching of the Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong Hall, which will be used as a place for retreat and prayers…"
